Tour of the Chicago History Museum’s Treasured Ten: Selections from the Costume Collection
Join exhibition co-curator Charles Bethea, the Andrew W. Mellon Director of Collections and Curatorial Affairs, for a special walkthrough of this exhibition which features ten never-before-exhibited ensembles from the Chicago History Museum’s expansive fashion collection. The show features the work of five designers, including Barbara Bates, Stephen Burrows, Scotty Piper, Patrick Kelly and Willi Smith; the latter two have recently been the subjects of major museum retrospectives.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before 3:30pm as the tour will begin promptly. Tour entry slots are free of charge but have limited availability. RSVPs will close 5 days in advance of the event.
