THE CURIO IN THE NEWS
“Second to None: The Curio’s Mission to Rise the Chicago Fashion Scene to the Top” - Newcity Magazine
The Curio launched in April 2022 to unite the Chicago fashion community (industry & consumers), showcase its best talent, and raise the profile of Chicago fashion.
Since then we have produced over 25 events to those ends. In 2023, we hosted two Fashion Summits which led to the launch of an official 2024 Chicago Fashion Week endorsed by the Mayor, with The Curio’s principals serving as two of the three founders. They have since stepped down from Chicago Fashion Week leadership to focus on The Curio’s programming which for ‘24 Fashion Week included the Opening Night Show and a fashion photography exhibition. Our plans for 2025 call for more bold programming to continue building excitement & growth for Chicago fashion. Stay tuned!
