About the Event
WARDROBE: Dressy. The dressier the better. Business casual is accepted. No jeans.
FASHION SHOW: Guests will enjoy a fashion show which showcases several styles of clothing & accessories. The Model Icon mission is making sure that everyone is represented on the runway. Attendees will witness a variety of fashions and confident models of all sizes, heights, ages, and ethnicities. This is a family oriented event.
TICKETS: Tickets are digital and received immediately via email upon purchase. One does not need to bring a printed copy of the ticket as guest names will be on a list at check in. All guests are to check in at the door at 5pm EST when doors open, not a minute earlier. Check in registration times may vary. An email will go out the day of the event to a week leading up to the show with any changes. Guests check in under the name of the ticket purchaser, unless other names were provided during the online ticket purchase. VENDOR INFORMATION: The vendor fee does cover a table and chairs. Flat rate price, no discounts given if you bring your own table and chairs. Set up time 3pm-4:30pm EST. Vendors do not need to purchase a ticket to the show. Vendor fee allows admittance for up to four people to operate their table.
BEAUTY QUEEN PARADE: The Model Icon Chicago Fashion Show on June 22, kicks off with a Beauty Queen Parade. Queens from pageant systems across the nation and internationally are welcome to model in our beauty queen parade. This is a very upbeat portion of the fashion show and a crowd favorite. Queens will wear their crown and sash while representing their respective pageant system. Queens bring their own evening gown, fashion wear, or cocktail dress to model during this portion. The Beauty Queen Parade ticket grants the participant general admission into our event where they will sit and enjoy the show, their spot in the beauty queen parade where they will model on the runway, and each participant will receive runway photos 6-8 weeks after the event.
