Identifying Vintage: Part of the The Gift of Knowledge: Winter Workshop Series Collection

  • 3331 South Halsted Street Chicago, IL, 60608 United States (map)

Tickets Here ($50-90)

We are living in an age where "vintage" has become a word thrown around to me many things, but when it comes to clothing, there is an actual definition for what vintage means! No prior experience is necessary, only a curiosity about the history of our clothing.

From tags and labels to fabrics and stitching, we will use various techniques to do the mystery-solving of the age of clothing.

We will learn what makes something particularly valuable, how to elongate the lives of our clothing, and do some myth-busting in the field of vintage identification.

All class participants will receive 20% off any in-store purchases on the day of their class.

There is one FREE space in each class for anyone for whom the cost is a burden. Please email sohappyurhere@gmail.com to enter yourself as a potential recipient. Names will be chosen at random and notified by 12/31/2023.
