About Dave Thomas

David Thomas is a Los Angeles-based stylist.

With over three decades of experience, he is considered one of the original pioneers of celebrity styling and was recognized in 2017 by The Hollywood Reporter as one of "Hollywood's Most In-Demand Men's Stylists” and received the “Styling Award” at the 2023 Hollywood Beauty Awards.

About Vanity Project

Visually rich and beautifully designed, Vanity Project features iconic images David Thomas has worked on over the past 30 odd years plus sketches, magazine covers, video stills, Polaroids, photographs and press cuttings, to build a picture of the creative process from the mind of the stylist and the client’s brief to the end result. The extensive archive of images that tells the story of Vanity Project will also include a series of never-before-seen portraits by some of the world’s leading contemporary photographers.
