The First Global Fashion Project From Iran
Chicago’s avant-garde non-profit, The Intrigue Yellow Foundation, presented a one-of-a-kind runway fashion show at the Waldorf Astoria on February 23rd featuring Iranian designer Leyla Kashani.
Leyla Kashani is renowned for her commitment to ethical luxury and reviving the lost craftsmanship of Ancient Persia to create modern yet timeless wearable arts.
The opening ceremony was hosted by TV Show Host and Media Personality Whitney Reynolds. Models embodied resilience as hairstyles featured crimped textures and wardrobe featured a variety of pleated bottom garments, patterned poncho outerwear, mesh veils, bejeweled mini dresses, and bell sleeved tops.
At the end of the show, Leyla Keshani was called to the stage to lead her team in the final catwalk. She sported a Moto-inspired outfit featuring a leather vest over a dark knit t-shirt and black combat boots.
The Intrigue Yellow Foundation catalyzes restorative lifestyles and creativeness through women’s expression to elevate all human kindness. If you’d like to know more about their efforts you can check out their website.
