Runway Latinx “Reboots” Fashion Events with Imagination & Technological Innovation

Runway Latinx Three Latino Designers

Curio team members were on hand for the conclusion of Hispanic Heritage Month when Runway Latinx hosted a three-day event centered around honoring their community,  empowering women, and benefiting the non-profit Pivoting in Heels.  This year’s event was titled “The Reboot” and hosted by CEO, AAR Tech, and Runway Latinx Founder Arabel Alva Rosales at CineCity Studios.

On Saturday, October 15, 2022, Chicago Runway Latinx fused together food and fun to provide a runway experience for Chicago’s renowned fashion community.  Three Latino designers congregated to commence the culture and deliver a ninety-minute show. The design talent included LuMen Martinez, Panni Margot, and Carmen Seminario

Attendees included some of the city’s finest clothing connoisseurs, couture curators, top business owners, local media personalities, and influencers.  Celebrity participants and guests of note were MLB Player Geraldo Reyes, model and influencer Carl Veney, and actress/ model Alma Delgado.

CARMEN SEMINARIO

The second collection contrasted Martinez’s elaborate patterns & dense materials with a more light, airy take. Designer Carmen Senimario’s catwalk showcased bold colors of chartreuse, magenta, cobalt blue, and in chiffon, silks, and mesh.
