The Curio Co-hosts Driehaus Fashion Awards 2024

The Curio co-hosted the return of the iconic Driehaus Fashion Awards in conjunction with the Driehaus Design Initiative which were produced by Zzazz Productions. It was an incredible return after a five year absence for the longest running independent fashion show in Chicago showcasing the best fashion student designers from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Columbia College Chicago and Dominican University. The fashionable evening, co-hosted by Sylvia Perez (Fox-32 News anchor) & Linda Yu (former news anchor).

The winners were Jules Gourley (first place, $10K), Brianna Yanga (second place, $7K) and Alexandra Seward (third place, $4K). Yanga also won the Neiman Marcus Award so her collection will be featured at Neiman Marcus Michigan Avenue. The Judges were designers Mark Roscoe & Peach Carr and Wendy Krimins (VP, Neiman Marcus Group Chicago). It was an incredible night for the future generation of fashion design leaders!
