The Curio x 21c Museum Hotel Holiday Fashion Soiree Soars

On December 21st The Curio hosted Chicago’s fashion community at 21c Museum Hotel Chicago to celebrate community, create new connections, and see some great fashion! The event brought out 200 of Chicago’s most stylish citizens to mingle and enjoy drinks and light bites from Lure Fishbar in front of the beautiful backdrop of 21c’s art exhibition entitled “Pop Stars! Popular Culture and Contemporary Art.”
The event raised funds from a limited release of tickets to fashion enthusiast consumers for the evening’s charity partner, the Chicago Fashion Coalition to support their mission of disrupting the status quo in the industry and connecting creatives with each other and much needed resources.

Who Was Showcased…

The centerpiece of the event was a presentation by three of Chicago’s brightest design stars who showed their take on a New Year’s Eve look on some of our city’s most interesting content creators. CIPRIANAMÍA, Swaby, and Veronica Sheaffer who dressed The Bayoud Twins, Stephanie Zullo, and Amy Anderson of Style Cadenza respectively.
Meiling Jin, dressed by Veronica Sheaffer, was our special style correspondent for the evening, so look for some exciting behind the scenes videos and interviews with designers and influencers coming soon!

2023: Announcing The Partnership Between The Curio x 21c Museum Hotels
Additionally, the event served as the kickoff of the partnership between The Curio and 21c Museum Hotel. Over the course of 2023, the organizations will produce three events:
SPRING: A Runway Show featuring some of Chicago’s leading designers
SUMMER/FALL: The second annual 21c Fashion’s Night Out
WINTER: A Holiday Pop-Up Market where consumers can shop local designers.
